IMAP

Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) is used to access email stored on a server from multiple devices (i.e. local client). You must have an email plan that supports IMAP to use IMAP email. You can set it up in pretty much any email client, on whatever computer or device you want, if you have IMAP-enable Workspace email.

GoDaddy Mail IMAP Setting:

  • You need to know your IMAP server address and available IMAP ports.
  • Open your email client, and create a new account.
  • Locate the IMAP settings area.
  • And follow the steps:
  • Set your Email address as your user name (Your full email address)
  • Set your Email account password as the password (e.g. your email account password)
  • Set Incoming Server to “imap.secureserver.net” server hostname to “imap.secureserver.net”
  • Set server port to 993
  • Set Connection Security: SSL/TLS
  • Set Authentication: Password

  • And follow the steps:
  • Set your Email address as your user name (Your full email address)
  • Set your Email account password as the password (e.g. your email account password)
  • Set Outgoing Server to “imap.secureserver.net” server hostname to “smtpout.secureserver.net”
  • Set server port to 465
  • Set Connection Security: SSL/TLS

Set Authentication: Password
