The steps for Zoho mail IMAP setting are given below:

  • Incoming Server Settings (Personal users who have an email address,username@zoho.com):
    1. Set Incoming Server Name to zoho.comSet Port to 993
    2. Set Require SSL to Yes
    3. Set username@zoho.com  as Username
  • Incoming Server Settings (Organization users who have a domain-based email address,you@com):
    1. Set Incoming Server Name to zoho.com
    2. Set Port to 993
    3. Set Require SSL to Yes
    4. Set you@yourdomain.com as Username:

Zoho Mail SMTP Settings

      SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. An Internet standard for electronic mail (email) transmission is called SMTP.  SMTP is used to send e-mail messages between servers. Most e-mail systems that send mail over the Internet use SMTP to send messages from one server to another.

  • Set Outgoing Server Name to zoho.com
  • Set Port to 465with SSL or port to 587 with TLS
  • Set Require Authentication to Yes
  • Set your Zoho username or your complete Zoho Mail address as User Name. If your domain is hosted with Zoho, then your email address will be in the format you@yourdomain.com.
  • Set your Zoho Mail address as Email Address. If your domain is hosted with Zoho, then your email address will be in the format you@yourdomain.com.
    Password: Enter your Zoho account password.

The steps to Configure Zoho Mail as an IMAP Account on Android are:

  1. First of all, IMAP Access should be enabled in your Zoho Mail account.
  2. Log in to Zoho Mail and Enable IMAP in the Zoho Mail Settings page.
  3. Then Open the Mail application on your Android device.
  4. Choose Add Account from the Mail app on your device.
  5. Now enter your email address and password of your Zoho Mail account, and then choose the Manual Configuration

  6. Choose IMAP Account from the options provided on the screen.

  7. Enter the following Incoming Server details:
    • Provide your full Zoho Mail address (username@yourdomain.com for users whose domains are hosted with Zoho and username@zoho.com for @zoho.com users) in the Email Address and Username

    • Choose the Security Type as
    • Set the Port Number to

8. Enter the following details in the Outgoing Server configuration:

  • Enter zoho.com in the SMTP Server field,
  • Choose the Security Type as
  • Set the Port Number to
  • Provide your Zoho Mail address (username@yourdomain.comfor users whose domains are hosted with Zoho and username@zoho.com for @zoho.com users) in the Username
  • Type your password in the Password

9. Now, click Sign In.

10. You will be navigated to Mails screen when the completion is successful.

Congratulations! You have successfully configured Zoho mail in your Android.

The steps to configure your Zoho Mail Account as IMAP in iPhone/ iPad are:

  1. Make sure that IMAP Access is turned on for your account. (Login to Zoho Mail>> Settings >> Mail Accounts >> Email forwarding and POP/ IMAP >> Enable IMAP)
  2. In your iPhone, Tap Settings >> Accounts and Passwords >> Add Account and choose Other >>  Add Mail Account

  3. Enter your Name, Email Address, Password and one short description to the account. click Next

  4. On the next screen, make sure that IMAP is selected in the top for account type.
  5. In the Incoming Mail Server section, provide the details below.
    • Set Host Name to zoho.com
    • Set your Zoho Email Address as User Name
    • Set your account password as Password
  6. In the Outgoing Mail Server section, provide the details below
    • Set Host Name to zoho.com
    • Set your Zoho account email address (user@yourdomain.com) as User Name :
    • Set your Zoho Password as Password

  7. The device connects to the IMAP server and authenticates the credentials provided by you. The IMAP account is set up on your mobile device when the authentication is successful.
